Flush-mounted aluminum skirting board “soaring walls” Sintezal P-104
Sintezal P-104 concealed aluminum skirting board is an innovative model of recessed aluminum floor skirting boards, produced in-house. The skirting board is designed for installation of plasterboard sheets on it, or installation in a prepared pit. When installing such a skirting board, a recess is formed along the line of its installation, which gives unconventionality to interior solutions and creates a visual effect of overhanging walls above the floor. Thanks to the recessed profile of the skirting board, the visual space of the room is expanded and the effect of floating walls (not touching the floor) is created.
The small mounting bead at the top of the profile has a minimal width (only 3 mm) and is practically invisible after installation. The edge also has a protective function, safely covering the connection between the skirting board and the wall, which prevents chipping of the wall finish in case of accidental impacts with household appliances or furniture. In addition to other advantages of the skirting board, you can also highlight the fact that such a design significantly facilitates installation, because masters do not need to perform a jewelry line of connection between the profile and the wall.
The baseboard cavity can be filled with various inserts (mdf, solid wood, aluminum, etc.), so you get a built-in baseboard in one plane with the wall. If the baseboard cavity is partially filled with an insert, LED lighting can be installed in the profile or a thin line can be left between the wall and the baseboard.
Due to its L-shape, the hidden skirting board P-104 can be installed at the final stage of renovation. It is easy to insert such a profile into the roughing pit, perform all puttying work on the walls, then remove the skirting board and install it after the finishing of the room. This prevents accidental damage to the profile during repair work.
